CFM International sets new record at Paris Air Show

CFM International, the 50/50 joint company between Safran Aircraft Engines and GE, set a new orders record for LEAP and CFM56 engines during the 2017 Paris Air Show, logging orders for 1,063 LEAP and CFM56 engines, worth $18.8 billion. This impressive performance reflects airlines’ confidence in CFM International to provide both engines and services for their fleets of single-aisle jetliners.
This trend continued during the second semester and CFM International achieved record production and order numbers at the end of 2017.
